Spring Cleanse with Ayurveda
Spring is a magical time of renewal. The season lends itself to setting new goals and intentions for the year as seeds are planted to produce their final fruit. It is also considered a natural time to reset the body, detoxify and rebuild. Join us for an Ayurvedic journey of self-care that will set you up to be your most healthy and productive self. Included in the course will be theory and overview of all steps and components of the full cleanse. We will incorporate proper diet regimens, the use of key herbal supplements and teas as well as instruction in simple yoga postures, meditation and self-massage to be incorporated throughout the cleanse.
There will be two stages to the program. The first stage is a 4-day seasonal reset which includes a modified diet and supportive daily regimens. The second stage will be a full 7 day Ayurvedic cleanse utilizing herbs, a special diet and continued daily regimens. All must attend the full day in person session and for those that want to go further with the 7-day cleanse there will be three additional online 45 minute classes (will be recorded as well).

Beat the Heat with Ayurveda
Join us for an Ayurvedic journey of self-care that will set you up to be your most healthy and productive self as you negotiate the heat of Summer. This workshop will provide you with recipes, a personal plan and a simple yoga practice to manage the effects of heat that build up in the Summer. You will:
Learn the basic theory of the doshas with an emphasis on Pitta dosha – the fire dosha
Learn about the pitta pacifying foods and go home with some delicious recipes
Put a personal plan together that is suited just for you
Participate in and learn a simple yoga practice including cooling breathwork to pacify the Pitta dosha and summer heat

Ayurveda is the oldest Traditional system of medicine in the world, dating back over 3000 years. Explore this rich science of health and longevity as Hilary shares its practices and insights.
How do we get out of balance?
What can we do to restore balance?
How do we maintain this balance in every day life?
Ayurveda has offered insights to these very questions for thousands of years and what was true then is still true today with a few modern twists and perspectives.
Come learn the simplicity of this system as you are guided through the basic framework. You will walk away with personal tools that will get you started on the path to balance.
Offered as 2 workshops and 3 satsangs (subject to change).
The presentations associated with this Yoga Vacation Program begin with an 8pm satsang on the first day of the program and conclude with an 8pm satsang on the last day of the program. Abhyanga Training (in-person)
Come be nurtured and guided by skilled practitioners as you learn ancient Ayurvedic treatments to cleanse, heal, and harmonize body, mind, and spirit. Learn the techniques of Ayurvedic bodywork used in rejuvenation therapy. Abhyanga (also referred to as snehana) is the classical full body oil treatment in Ayurveda, utilizing warm herbalized oil and rhythmic body technique to move the oil into the body.
Additional time is also spent on the fundamentals of Ayurvedic theory, the origins of massage, and ethics training through the lens of yoga and Ayurveda. You also receive an introduction to the use of mantra, or sacred sound, in establishing a calm and healing environment.
Summary of workshop:
Participants will learn the basic theory of the tri-doshas and their gunas in application to bodywork
Participants will learn a full body Abhyanga treatment with oil
Participants will learn how to customize the treatment in balancing disturbed doshas
Participants will learn the importance of sacred sound for establishing a healing environment
Participants will learn about Ayurvedic oils used in the treatments
Participants will learn the brief history and background of Ayurveda and the treatment techniques
Participants will learn the technique of self-massage with oil
Learning objectives:
Perform a 40-minute full body Abhyanga treatment with oil
Explain the basic background of Ayurveda and the treatments to their clients/students
Perform and teach Ayurvedic self-massage
Notes:
Oils are used throughout the training, so casual clothing is recommended. Old bathing suits or undergarments may be useful for practice sessions.
This program should meet the minimum two hour ethics training requirement for massage therapists.
This course is designed for bodyworkers and Ayurvedic professionals; others should direct inquiries to Hilary.

Ayurvedic Head, Face, Hand and Foot Massage Training (in-person)
Ayurvedic massage restores a sense of calm and balance to the body, nourishing the skin and connective tissue. Learn about specific energy points of the head, face, hands and feet and how to use oils and masks for individualized treatments. This treatment is not only good for the face and scalp but also creates a sense of calm and groundedness that lasts for days.
Summary of workshop:
Participants will learn the basic theory of the tri-doshas and their gunas in application to bodywork
Participants will learn a facial treatment with oils and pastes with a special focus on the face and head marma points
Participants will learn a full hand massage
Participants will learn a full foot massage
Participants will learn about the specialty oils used for head, face and body
Participants will learn the brief history and background of the Ayurveda and the treatments
Learning objectives:
Perform a 50-minute head, face and foot massage
Explain the basic background of Ayurveda and the treatments to clients
Adjust treatment according to the doshic profile of the client
